NYCLT will be co-hosting a three-part Loft Law info series with the NYC Artist Coalition and the Brooklyn Arts Council.

What is the Loft Law? Am I Eligible for Coverage? The deadline to apply for coverage is June 26, 2017. What can I do to support the Loft Law?

Get information from specialized Loft Law lawyer, Margaret Sandercock and experienced volunteers (tenants) who will be available to answer questions about applying for coverage, and how you can help keep the application process open for others.

May 19 Session 2Session Two:
Legal + Advocacy

A conversation focused on the legal issues involved for those who have applied or are covered by the Loft Law. Experienced volunteers (tenants) and Loft Law specialized lawyers will be available to answer questions about OATH, rent adjustments, roommates and subletting, etc. There will also be a discussion about how you can help improve the Loft Law.


June 2 Session 3Session Three:
Architectural + Advocacy
Friday, June 2

A Q&A focused on the architectural issues involved for IMD tenants who have begun the Narrative Statement process. Loft Law specialized architect Arthur Atlas and experienced volunteers (tenants) and will be available to answer questions about the narrative statement, code compliance, and pass-along costs, etc. There will also be a discussion about how you can help improve the Loft Law.
